A Brand New Craft Retreat in Genesee County
Located in the heart of Mid-Michigan, just minutes from I-69, Night Owl Craft Retreat offers a cozy, no-frills space for your group of up to 8 crafters. You’ll have the entire retreat to yourselves for the whole weekend, giving you lots of time to create, laugh, and make memories.
Designed by a Crafter
Michelle, a lifelong paper crafter and experienced retreat host, poured years of hands-on crafting experience into the design of this craft retreat space. Knowing what crafters want and need, every detail was created with crafters in mind. See all the amenities here.
Fully Remodeled and Ready for You
We began renovations in December 2024 and completely transformed the building. Everything is fresh, clean, and 95% brand new including flooring, paint, furniture, lighting, bathrooms, bedrooms, and more. Guests often tell us the space feels bright, welcoming, comfortable and completely ready for a relaxing weekend away.
Barrier-Free and ADA-Compliant
We believe every crafter should feel comfortable and welcome here. That’s why Night Owl is fully barrier-free and ADA-compliant, featuring wide doorways, no steps, and an accessible bathroom and bedroom. Your whole group can enjoy the space without limitations.
What’s Inside the Retreat
Your weekend stay includes:
- A spacious crafting area with 6-foot tables for each guest, bright lighting, comfortable chairs, and plenty of outlets
- Three bedrooms with shared sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests
- Two full bathrooms stocked with fresh towels
- A small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, crock pot, and toaster oven
- A cozy lounge area for relaxing between projects
- High-speed Wi-Fi and free parking (one vehicle per guest)

Night Owl Craft Retreat is surrounded by great food and shopping options in Burton and Davison, most within 3–5 miles of the retreat. You’ll find restaurants, coffee shops, pizza places, and grocery stores close by so you can easily grab a meal, pick up snacks, or stock up for the weekend.

How to Book Your Craft Retreat
Booking is simple:
- Review the available weekends online
- Your group leader should fill out the form on that page to inquire about your desired weekend
- We’ll send the group leader a rental agreement to sign
- Pay the deposit to secure your dates and booking
The retreat is rented as a full unit, so your group will enjoy the entire space.
