Cost for Overnight Retreats

$1,080 + tax per weekend (5% county tax and 6% state tax). Get the entire space for up to 8, and divide the cost among your group.

We offer a self-serve, no-frills overnight crafting experience for up to 8 guests including a large crafting area, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Our property is fully renovated and is barrier-free so everyone can enjoy.

Things to Know: About the Space, Rules, Terms & Policies

Rental Period

Thursday 4pm to Sunday 2pm EST (Thursday included FREE for a limited time)

Crafting Area

Each guest will have have access to their personal 6-foot crafting table and waste basket, a super comfortable bungee chair, amazing overhead lighting plus individual lighting at each table, and power outlets for your accessories and chargers.

Bedrooms

When it’s time to rest, you’ll find eight individual comfortable twin beds with soft sheets and cozy mattresses across three shared bedrooms. Two rooms sleep three and one sleeps two (one room is barrier-free). Each guest will also get a towel and have access to box fans, sound machines and extra blankets.

Kitchenette

While meals aren’t provided, you’ll have access to our cute kitchenette which includes a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, crock pot, toaster, coffee maker, cups, dishes and silverware.

Feel free to bring your own meals, snacks and drinks as well as explore nearby restaurants.

Bathrooms

There are two shared bathrooms, one being barrier-free with a spacious shower for added convenience. Guests will have access to shampoo, conditioner and body wash, along with an ample starter supply of soap, paper towels and toilet paper.

Lounge Area

Take a break from crafting in our lounge area – a comfy space to relax, chat, and enjoy time with friends. Includes a couch and dining table and chairs.

Safety

Our facility is inspected by the local Fire Marshall each year and equipped with fire extinguishers, fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

Internet

Free WiFi is available.

Heating & Cooling

Our location has central heating and air conditioning that you can control to your comfort level.

Parking

We have a small parking lot that offers free, well-lit parking for each guest and is close to the front door.

Rules

  • 8 Guests Max
  • Craft a lot and have fun!
  • Clean up after yourself.
  • Be respectful of guests, neighbors and the property.
  • No smoking of any kind or vaping inside the building.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Report any damage or maintenance issues.

Payment Terms

  • A $400 non-refundable deposit is due upon signing to reserve the dates.
  • The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival.
  • Payments accepted by check. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.

Cancellation Policy

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes cancellations, no-shows, and early departures — all payments are final.

In the rare case that Night Owl Craft Retreat must cancel your booking due to unexpected circumstances (such as a maintenance issue or property damage), you will receive a full refund.

Need to Cancel? You May Send a Replacement

If you need to cancel within 30 days of your retreat, you are welcome to find another group to take your place with prior approval from Night Owl Craft Retreat.

Here’s how it works:

  • The new group must sign a new rental agreement
  • The new group pays you directly (Night Owl will not refund or credit you)
  • The replacement must be finalized and approved at least 7 days before the retreat

This gives you a flexible option without affecting our booking calendar. Please contact us in writing if you plan to use this option.

Booking Process

View our availability on the calendar on this page then fill out the form to inquire about your desired dates. We will confirm availability then send you the rental agreement to sign and get your deposit to reserve your retreat dates. The final payment is due 30 days before your stay. Before the retreat the group leader and all guests will sign a liability waiver and receive helpful emails to help you plan and get ready for your stay!
